Are you the type of person who wants the haircut of your favorite movie/tv star?  Are you someone that has to have the trendy haircut of the season?  If you answered Yes to either of these questions, then you have or will be getting the center part, sleek bob.

The center part was seen all over the Fall 19 runway shows. The long list of designers who showcased the 70s inspired hair included Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Phillip Lim, Brandon Maxwell, Tibi, Cushnie, Self Portrait, Cong Tri, Jonathan Simkhai, Tadashi Shoji, Adeam, Longchamp, and R13.  And, that’s just the New York designers.  From the runway to the red carpet, the center part was front and center on shiny sleek bobs.  It was Irina Shayk, Charlize Theron and Games of Thrones Star, Emilia Clarke who all debuted the new look at this year’s Oscars.
Since then, we have seen celebrity after celebrity chopping off their locks in favor of the new bob.  The most recent celebrity to join the bandwagon is Kristen Bell.  She recently debuted her new do on Instagram with the quotation, “Your mom got a hair cut and she is FEELING IT.”  Bell’s bob was styled by celebrity hairstylist, Jenny Cho, who also gave Emilia Clarke the similar style hair cut. Pretty Little Liars star, Lucy Hale will be staring in the spin-off to Riverdale in her center part and chocolate brown bob.  The list doesn’t stop there.  Others celebrities rocking the center part bob include Emily Ratajkowski, Emma Roberts, Olivia Culpo, Dua Lipa, Alicia Vikander, and Jourdan Dunn.
So, if you aren’t convinced yet… A center part is an easy way to change up your current bob.  Despite common belief, the center part can work on any face shape and will accentuate all your best features.  The center part bob is easy to achieve, it can be simple or sexy, and it exudes confidence and boldness.  What are you waiting for?  Go talk to your hairdresser now.
